Life is an ever-evolving experience of shifting emotions, thoughts, and energy. There are moments and opportunities when we feel empowered, inspired, and connected, and others when fear, doubt, anxiety, or frustration take over. Our energy is always in motion and with intention and spiritual tools, we can guide ourselves toward greater balance and well-being. By working with these tools intentionally, we can create space for new perspectives, healthier habits, and more aligned energy.
Fear is a natural human emotion, but when it becomes our default, it can quietly shape the choices we make and the life we create. It encourages us to stay small, avoid risks, resist change, or seek approval insteading of honoring our authenticity. Fear influences our relationships through mistrust, lack of communication, and unhealthy boundaries. It contracts our energy, causing us to feel stuck, uncertain, or disconnected from our inner strength.
Shifting from fear to empowerment begins with remembering that courage and risk is not the absence of fear, but a willingness to move intentionally forward. Each empowered choice strengthens confidence and expands our capacity to embrace new opportunities and relationships. When we reconnect with our personal power and trust our inner knowing, we become empowered.

As with any meaningful transformation, small, intentional practices can help support this shift. These are some of our favorite tools for moving from fear to empowerment.
Past Life and Ancestral Healing
Sometimes fear exists as energetic imprints that are carried through our ancestral lineage or past-life experiences. These unresolved patterns show up in our present life as limiting beliefs or emotional reactions that are not even ours. Exploring this angle through energy healing sessions such as QHHT, Akashic readings, Past Life Constellation sessions, or Shamanic healing sessions, can remove fear based emotions and patterns that are out of alignment with your authentic self. Releasing these energetic imprints not only frees you from carrying the weight but also creates healing that can ripple through your ancestral lineage, past, present, and future.
The Root Chakra is our energetic foundation of safety, stability, and belonging. Experiences of trauma, chronic stress, or prolonged fear can disrupt this center. This can manifest as feelings of frustration, insecurity, shame, exhaustion, anxiety, or anger. Working with a Reiki practitioner can help restore balance to the Root Chakra. A daily practice to ground with Mother Earth and a mindful meditation practice can maintain this foundation chakra.
Breathwork techniques can induce a relaxation response and transform a fear based mindset into positivity. Mindful breathing techniques activate the amygdala (the emotional regulation center of the brain), reduce negative emotions (such as fear) and stimulate positive changes in mood and cognition. As we switch from the sympathetic nervous system (fight or flight response) to the parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest or the body's ability to relax), stress is reduced and felt throughout our body.

Calling Back Energy
Fear can scatter our energy, pulling our attention into worrying about the future, replaying past experiences, or focusing on situations beyond our control. When we remain invested in this energy, we may feel depleted, ungrounded, and more vulnerable to negative thought patterns or unhealthy habits. Consciously calling our energy back can help restore a sense of wholeness, calm the nervous system, and bring us back to the present moment.
Try this simple practice prior to sleep, after a stressful event, or a challenging conversation. Lying in bed or in a comfortable position with your eyes closed, set the intention to call back your energy using a simple statement such as, "I call back all of my energy..." You can add "from" and list people and places your energy was invested during the day such as work, stores, school, large gatherings, television, electronics, social media, and AI. You can visualize your energy returning to your energy field as a golden light infusing your Solar Plexus Chakra.
Working with crystals intentionally can support your intentions through grounding, strengthening your self-beliefs, and reconnecting with self-confidence. Our favorites to work with to reinforce feelings of courage, resilience, and self-confidence are Tiger Eye, Desert Rose Selenite, Pietersite, Mexican Crazy Lace Agate, and Carnelian.
One way to continue working on releasing fear-based ancestral patterns is to create an altar dedicated to ancestral healing. You can include photos, drawings, candles, symbols of remembrance, or natural elements with a focused intention on what you are trying to release. Creating and working with an altar around a significant date or within a lunar cycle is an especially potent time of transformation.
Plants and herbs can be used for connecting with ancestors and bring healing to fear-based ancestral patterns. Our favorites to work with are Calendula Flowers, White Willow Bark (do not use if pregnant or nursing; do not burn), Mugwort (do not use if pregnant or nursing), and Wormwood (do not ingest or burn. Do not use if pregnant or nursing, or if you have kidney or liver disease, epilepsy, or a seizure disorder). Whether placing them on your altar, burning them with a specific intention to release ancestral fear-based beliefs, or incorporating them in meditation, they can serve as meaningful tools to strengthen your connection to your lineage and heal inherited patterns.
Aromatherapy offers a gentle yet powerful way to support emotional well-being during times of fear or uncertainty. Our favorite essential oils to encourage calm and emotional resilience are Cedarwood, Palmarosa, Vetiver, and Bergamot. When used in a diffuser blend or applying prior to meditation, they can be a comforting reminder that you are safe and supported.
Protection
Creating a sense of spiritual protection can encourage a sense of security and reinforce healthy boundaries. Our favorite crystals to work with are Black Tourmaline, Obsidian, Hematite, and Selenite. Symbols such as the Evil Eye are powerful reminders of protection and resilience. Whether you carry them, wear as jewelry, or place in your home or workspace, these tools can reinforce the intention to release fear, trust your inner strength, and navigate your daily life with peace and empowerment.
Fear may always be a part of the human experience, but it doesn't have to define the path we choose. Each intentional practice, whether working with crystals, creating a sacred altar, grounding through breathwork, or reconnecting with your energy, is an opportunity to move from contraction toward expansion and from fear toward empowerment.

Stepping into Empowerment
You don't have to incorporate every tool at once. Trust your intuition and begin with the practice that speaks to you most. Small, consistent shifts often create the most meaningful transformation. As you continue to choose courage over fear and reconnect with your inner wisdom, you'll discover that the strength, resilience, and guidance you've been seeking have been within you all along.

Each number carries its own unique vibration and wisdom. Number 8 is one of the most powerful vibrations in numerology. It is known as the number of abundance, strength, manifestation, and the balance between the spiritual and physical dimensions. Number 8 teaches us how to step into our authentic truth, lead with integrity, and create a life that aligns with our soul's purpose. It reminds us that energy is always moving and what we cultivate within ourselves eventually manifests in the world around us.

How to Work with Number 8
Number 8 appears when we are being called to take inspired action through deeper reflection and stepping into our authenticity. When it appears repeatedly (time, dates, numbers on receipts, dreams, etc) it is signaling that we are ready for the next chapter in our spiritual development. When you work with this number in intention setting, planning, or by noticing its patterns in your life, its frequency encourages us to trust what is being revealed to us through our intuition, meditation, and dreams.

The sacred number 8 invites us to remember that abundance begins from within. When we cultivate confidence, integrity, gratitude, and alignment with our soul's purpose, we receive opportunities, meaningful connections, and prosperity. We become open to infinite possibilities when we live from a power of authenticity.

The cosmic alignment of Earth, Sirius, and the Orion constellations opens a spiritual gateway and opportunity for further ascension and potent manifestation. The portal, known as the Lion's Gate, may be open for several days but it's at its peak on August 8th (8/8).
Spiritual Significance of the Number 8
The number 8 represents infinite potential, manifestation, abundance, and empowerment. When viewed sideways, the number 8 becomes the infinity symbol, representing the eternal flow between the spiritual and physical dimensions. The energy of 8 encourages us to recognize our ability to co-create with the Universe while simultaneously being an active participant in our personal growth. The Lion's Gate reminds us that abundance is not only financial wealth and success but Love, health, opportunities, creativity, and true alignment and expansion on our authentic path.

Sirius Collective
The Sirius Collective is known as a group consciousness connected to Universal wisdom and teachings, spiritual mastery, and holds deep resonance with animals such as felines, whales, and dolphins. They have connections to ancient Egypt (their reverence for cats and goddess Bastet), Atlantis, and Lemuria. Starseeds from this system may find themselves drawn to working with animals, technology, daydreamers, or creatives. The Lion's Gate Portal is a powerful opportunity to connect with the Sirius Collective for higher teachings and transmissions. Pay close attention to your dreams, write them in your journal, as you may be receiving intuitive insights, creative inspiration, or a stronger sense of connection to your higher self.
Crystals that connect with the Sirius Collective and can be worked with and charged during this potent time are Atlantisite, Darwin Glass, Gold Sheen Obsidian, Aquamarine, Pyrite, Lemurian Quartz, and Cathedral Quartz.
Fire Element
The Lion's Gate portal occurs during Leo season, a time governed by the Fire element. Fire represents transformation, passion, courage, inspired action, and spiritual illumination. It has the power to transmute dense energy into light and reminds us that growth often requires a release. The Fire element supports personal empowerment, self-confidence, and releasing fear and self-doubt. A powerful way to work with this element is through a fire releasing ceremony, symbolic of transformation and renewal. Take a few moments to reflect and journal on what you are ready to release to make room for growth. Consider fears, limiting beliefs, old identities, habits, and situations you are ready to surrender. Write them on a piece of paper and place the intention to release and gratitude for the lessons learned. Light a small fire in a safe outdoor fire pit or you can even use the flame of a candle. Place the paper in the flame. As it burns, visualize the energy being transformed into your desires.

Reflections for the Lion's Gate Portal
Where in my life am I being called to shine more authentically?
What gifts, passions, and talents have I kept hidden that are ready to be expressed?
Which fears or limiting beliefs are dimming my inner light?
What does personal empowerment look and feel for me at this moment?
What does abundance truly mean to me?
What parts of myself am I ready to embrace with compassion and forgiveness rather than judgement?
If I fully believed in my own worth and potential, what courageous step would I take next?
What intention would allow my soul to expand over the coming months?
Final Thoughts
Through the combined energies of Sirius, the abundant vibration of the number 8, and the Fire element, the Lion's Gate portal offers an invitation to release what is no longer in alignment, embrace your intuitive hits and downloads, and step boldly into your next level of growth!
August 04, 2026
The month of August is full of potential for abundance, transformation, and intentional creation. The month begins with the 8/8 Lion's Gate Portal, an opportunity for heightened spiritual awareness, heart-centered expansion, and intentional manifestation. This is a divinely held space for reconnecting with your highest vision and consciously aligning with the life you wish to lead. We pulled a card from Kyle Gray's Keepers of the Light oracle card deck for inspiration and clarification on what lies ahead this month.

Diana
Focused Intention
Think about what you desire. Set your sights high. Expect the best possible outcome.
Diana is the Roman moon goddess of the hunt... She is often seen holding a bow and a quiver of arrows, which signifies her ability to help us focus on a vision. She also helps us tune into our intuitive side so that we can listen to the wisdom that will guide us towards our goal. In particular, she encourages women to move into their true power, and promotes quality for all souls.
Move forward with unwavering faith, knowing that the universe is supporting you. Diana is helping you awaken your divine ability to manifest what you deserve. Any fear is only a reminder that whatever you are working on or through is an important issue for your growth. You focus is strong now and will be particularly powerful at the full moon.
We're reminded, "Where attention goes, energy flows." When we intentionally redirect our attention toward gratitude, possibility, abundance, and our highest intentions, our energy begins to align with the future we are choosing to create. We can consciously create space for transformation and abundance to naturally unfold. Quiet the outside noise (social media, gossip, opinions and expectations, perfectionism, negative self-talk, criticism, self-limiting beliefs, "the inner critic") and reconnect with your own inner truth.

As you ponder this card, reflect on the following questions:
"Which intention feels most aligned with the person I'm becoming?"
"What limiting belief am I ready to release to create room for abundance?"
"Where is my intuition and heart guiding me that my ego has been hesitant to trust?"
"Where am I allowing fear to keep me from stepping into my fullest potential?"

Working with energetically aligned crystals and tools can be a source of support as you navigate throughout the month.
Crystals such as White Fluorite, Rainbow Moonstone, Pyrite, Nirvana Quartz, Siderite, and Prophecy Stone can amplify your intentions and support this month's transformational energy.
Creating a crystal grid can focus an intention and charge it with the frequencies of crystals and other natural elements. Check out our blog, "Manifesting with Intention: Activating a Crystal Grid" for a deeper dive into grids. The 8/8 Lion's Gate Portal is the perfect opportunity to charge your intentions.
The Full Moon illuminates what is ready to be released and invites us to honestly reflect on where our energy has been invested. Working with the Full Moon and the transformational energy of the Fire element in a simple burning ceremony can be a powerful way to create space for new beginnings and focus intentions. Write down your fears, limiting beliefs, burdens, or whatever you are ready to release, then safely burn them. Visualize the flames transmuting what no longer serves your highest good into light, wisdom, and new possibility. The smoke that rises symbolizes surrender and trust in the Divine.
Working with the unique energetic signature of herbs in moon ceremonies, grids, spiritual jars, or altar spaces can bring intentional awareness to your desires while creating a sacred container for transformation and focus intention. Our favorites herbs to work with are Chamomile Flowers, Gotu Kola (do not use if under care for hyperthyroidism; do not burn), Lemongrass, Rosemary (can interfere with anticoagulants, blood pressure medications & diuretics), Skullcap, and Tulsi Leaf (Holy Basil) (do not use if taking anticoagulants or if hypoglycemic; discontinue prior to surgery).
One of the most significant moments of this month is the 8/8 Lion's Gate Portal. The number 8 represents abundance, infinite potential, empowerment, and the natural flow between all dimensions. As you move through this portal, allow your intentions to be guided by your intuition rather than ego, trusting that what is aligned with your highest good will unfold in Divine timing. Dream big, open your heart to all possibilities, and take action toward the action you are consciously creating.

"I align my thoughts, intentions, and actions with my highest good."

Tarot cards are powerful tools for reflection, guidance, and self-discovery. Rather than predicting a fixed future, tarot invites us to explore possibilities, uncover hidden patterns, and gain deeper insight into ourselves and the energies surrounding a situation. If you're new to tarot, it's completely natural to feel both curious and a little intimidated.
We recently sat down with Katie Taylor of A Touch of Zen Reiki & Tarot, an intuitive reader and energy practitioner. Her approach to tarot is rooted in the belief that guidance should feel supportive, empowering, and accessible. She shared her unique perspective on receiving tarot readings and how tarot can become a meaningful part of your daily practice—offering clarity, inspiration, and a deeper connection to yourself and your intuition.
Can you share a little about yourself, your journey, and what first inspired you to begin working with tarot?
I've been drawn to tarot ever since I was a child. I was raised in a very religious household, so I wasn't allowed to have tarot cards or explore them growing up. I actually had a hidden deck as a teenager, but I became so afraid of getting caught that I threw them away.
I have a degree in Technical Writing, and one of my favorite things to do is write guided meditations. I am the founder and owner of A Touch of Zen Reiki & Tarot, a wellness center in Caledonia, where I offer Reiki, tarot readings, classes, meditations, and other spiritual wellness experiences.
Before opening my business, I spent many years working in education, most recently as an elementary school secretary. During that time, my interest in Reiki, tarot, crystals, and energy work continued to grow. I had been reading tarot for myself for a year or two before I started bringing my cards to work. My coworkers would stop by my office, and I'd pull cards for them during the day. That's really where I first began sharing tarot with others.

My first public reading came about when the owner of a local wellness center invited me to offer readings at one of her community events. I still remember my very first client, Angie. Reading for strangers was a little intimidating, but that experience gave me the confidence to continue, and eventually it became the foundation of the work I do today. I still thank Angie for that great first reading. I believe she was sent to give me the courage to do what I had always dreamed of!
I'm a mother of three sons and I absolutely love animals, especially my two dogs. I'll be turning 50 at the end of September, which I'm actually really excited about!
What is the difference between tarot and oracle cards?
Tarot follows a specific structure. Every tarot deck contains the same Major Arcana and the same four suits of the Minor Arcana. The artwork may differ from deck to deck, but the overall system remains the same.
Oracle cards are completely different. Each oracle deck has its own unique theme, structure, messages, and number of cards. One deck might focus on angels, another on animals, nature, or affirmations. There are no universal rules for oracle decks like there are with tarot.
Read more on the blog: Powerful Insights: Our Practical Guide to Working with Oracle & Angel Cards.
How would you describe tarot to someone who is completely new to it?
Tarot is a system of 78 cards used to gain insight, perspective, and guidance. The deck is divided into two parts:
The Major Arcana
These are the 22 cards with titles such as The Fool, The High Priestess, The Empress, and The Hermit. They often represent significant life lessons, major themes, and important turning points.
The Minor Arcana
The remaining 56 cards are divided into four suits:
By reading the cards together, they tell a story and offer guidance based on the energy surrounding a situation.

Do you need to be psychic or intuitive to benefit from a tarot reading?
No. I don't believe you have to be psychic or especially intuitive to either receive a tarot reading or learn to read tarot yourself.
I believe intuition is something we all have. Some people naturally connect with it more easily, while others need practice and experience to build that trust. Tarot is one of the tools that can help strengthen that connection.
Whether you're reading for yourself or someone else, or getting a reading, tarot is less about having a special gift and more about learning to listen, observe, and trust the wisdom that’s already within you.
How often do you recommend pulling cards for yourself?
I recommend pulling cards every day if you can, even if it's just one card. Do a simple three-card reading for yourself in the morning, and practice with friends and family. The more time you spend with your cards, the more comfortable and confident you'll become. Personally, I pull cards every single day. Sometimes it's one card, sometimes an oracle card, sometimes a full spread, but it's become part of my daily spiritual practice.
What guidance would you offer someone who is just beginning to learn tarot?
Really look at the cards. Especially with the traditional Rider-Waite deck, so much of each card's meaning is contained within the artwork itself. The symbolism tells a story.
I encourage people to learn the basic meanings of the cards while also allowing their intuition to develop. For me, the two go hand in hand. Once you understand the foundations, your intuition naturally begins adding deeper layers of meaning.
And above all... practice.

Can tarot be used as a tool for personal growth and self-discovery rather than simply predicting the future?
Absolutely, 100%. This is probably one of the biggest misconceptions about tarot. Personally, I don't use tarot to predict the future. Instead, I use it as a tool for guidance, self-reflection, and personal growth.
Tarot reads the energy surrounding a situation. And because our energy changes as we make choices and decisions, the guidance can change as well. That's why I see tarot as empowering rather than predictive; it helps us understand where we are and what options we have moving forward.
One of my favorite questions to ask is:
Those types of open-ended questions almost always provide the most meaningful guidance.
Which types of questions work best for tarot?
The best tarot questions are open-ended. Rather than asking yes-or-no questions or trying to predict exact dates or timelines, I encourage people to ask questions that begin with:
These types of questions invite exploration and insight instead of limiting the conversation.
Can you give us an example of how tarot can provide clarity, guidance and support in everyday life?
Recently I was creating one of my custom healing journeys with a client. She knew she wanted to grow but wasn't quite sure what direction to focus on. We pulled tarot cards together and asked what this journey wanted to become. The cards consistently pointed toward inner child healing.
Because of that guidance, we were able to build her entire journey around reconnecting with and healing that younger part of herself. That experience is a perfect example of how I use tarot, not to predict the future, but to uncover the areas that are asking for our attention and healing.

Final Thoughts
If there's one thing I'd like people to take away, it's that tarot is a tool for guidance, reflection, and self-discovery. It encourages us to slow down, ask meaningful questions, and look at our lives from a different perspective. In my opinion, there is nothing evil or scary about it.
For me (just the way I use it for myself and my clients), tarot isn't about telling someone exactly what their future holds - it's about helping them better understand themselves, recognize the choices available to them, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

When we sit with a drum as a participant in a drum circle or receiving a healing drum wash, something awakens within us. The repetitive rhythm grounds and centers us, calling us back into our bodies. It is a bridge between the physical and the spiritual worlds, reminding us that we are all connected to one another and to Mother Earth herself.

Drum as a Heartbeat
The drum's beat is often called the heartbeat of Mother Earth. It also mirrors the steady beating of our own hearts and that first sound we ever hear in the womb. In ceremony, sound baths, and meditation, drumming can guide us into altered states of consciousness, opening pathways for clarity and deep intuitive downloads.
The beat represents:

Power of Drumming
The rhythm of a beating drum bypasses the conscious mind and speaks directly to our soul. It helps to release stagnant energy, move emotions through and away from our physical bodies, and create a shared energetic field when played in a group. Drumming in a circle, without a beginning or an end, represents wholeness, unity, sacred boundary, and the continuous cycle of life. This enclosed space helps cultivate presence, focus, and spiritual connection.
Drums can be used for:

How to Use a Drum
Musical training isn't required to connect with a drum. Trust your intuition to guide you and allow the rhythm to flow naturally through you. Drumming isn't about playing for perfection but rather playing with presence. Listen inward and allow your heart to guide the rhythm.
Ways to practice:
Caring for Your Drum
The drum is a sacred tool, and thoughtful care helps preserve both its physical integrity and the energetic connection you share with it.
Whether you are using your drum for deep meditative journeying, releasing stagnant energy, or simply finding your own rhythm in the quiet moments of the morning, remember that the most powerful instrument you have is your own intent. You don’t need to be a musician to speak the language of the drum; you only need to be present and willing to listen. We invite you to pick up your drum, close your eyes, and let that primal, steady beat guide you back home to yourself—and to the Earth.

Unlike most crystals, Amber is not a mineral formed within the Earth. It is fossilized tree resin that has undergone transformation over millions of years, preserving within it the energy of ancient forests. Some pieces may even contain insects or plant matter!

Amber resonates with the energy of warmth, optimism, confidence, and universal life force. It can be supportive during times when you feel depleted, uninspired, or disconnected from your inner light. One of the easiest ways to work with Amber is by wearing it. Keeping Amber close to the body allows its uplifting and protective energy to remain within your energetic field throughout the day.

Amber is often associated with the Solar Plexus Chakra. This energy center resonates with our personal power, confidence, self-worth, and motivation. When the Solar Plexus is depleted or blocked, we may experience procrastination, engage in self-sabotaging thought patterns, struggle with self-confidence, or find ourselves stuck in a cycle of powerlessness and victim consciousness. During meditation or energy work, place Amber over the Solar Plexus Chakra to support feelings of empowerment, confidence, and emotional balance.

Amber offers a unique connection to tree consciousness, carrying the essence of ancient forests. It embodies the wisdom, resilience, and interconnectedness of Mother Earth. Working with Amber can hep attune you to the rhythms of nature, encourage patience, grounding, and protection. Amber reminds us that trees hold lessons of endurance, growth, and adaptation and meditating with it can foster a stronger connection to the natural world around us!

Many crystals include natural features, unique markings, and internal formations that hold deeper wisdom, insight, and energetic signatures for those who are called to work with them. Crystals are considered conscious beings that carry ancient memories for personal growth, spiritual awakening, and energetic transformation. When working with crystal etchings, you may receive intuitive insights, symbolic messages, or energetic activations. They are believed to be gateways that help convey that crystal's specific consciousness and purpose. Through meditation, intention, and presence, we can deepen our relationship with their teachings and uncover the lessons they are ready to share. Here are some of our favorite crystal etchings to work with!

Record Keepers are identified by small, naturally formed triangular shapes or pyramids etched or naturally raised on one or more faces of the crystal. They contain ancient wisdom and records from past civilizations, higher realms, or collective consciousness. Trace or focus your gaze on the Record Keepers to access messages. Our favorite crystals are Lemurian Quartz and Raw Ruby Hexagon.

These Record Keepers are also naturally formed pyramids but they are taller and curved. They can be naturally raised or indented, usually on the face of a Quartz crystal. If you find these etchings, it's likely you have a connection to the lost civilization of Atlantis. These are more difficult to discover but are more likely to be found on Nirvana Quartz or Tibetan Quartz.

These crystals contain a phantom formation that was interrupted, symbolizing new beginnings and transformation. These ghostly forms are a powerful reminder of life's cycles, promoting resilience, and rejuvenation. Phantom Amethyst and Amphibole Angel Phantom Quartz Points, which contain featherly-type phantoms resembling angel wings, are our favorite phantom crystals.

These crystals feature a naturally formed indentation or recessed shape that resemble a keyhole. It happens when a smaller crystal grows into a larger one and later detaches, leaving behind a precise "imprint". They are often associated with unlocking hidden knowledge and opening energetic doorways. These notches are often found in Quartz crystals.

Twin Point crystals occur when two crystal terminations grow from the same base and share a common body while maintaining distinct points. They symbolize, harmony, partnership, co-creation, and duality. Twin Points are often found in Quartz crystals.

Barcodes ("ladder of the gods" or "staircase to heaven") are a series of parallel horizontal lines or striations along one or more crystal faces believed to be sacred messages from the ancient Lemurians. This advanced civilization is known for their spiritual enlightenment and according to legend the Lemurians planted these crystals in a grid-like pattern all over the Earth so their messages could be passed onto us. These etchings activate the Crown and Soul Star Chakras, which are associated with spiritual connection, enlightenment, higher consciousness, and divine guidance. Lemurian Quartz is known for these unique and highly vibrational barcodes. When you meditate with a barcode crystal, gently rub your fingers across the grooves and open your mind to decoding its hidden messages.

Trigonic markings are naturally occurring pyramids or triangles that appear recessed and downward facing on the faces of Quartz. These rare formations have long been associated with assisting communication with a higher consciousness and the ancient wisdom held in Mother Earth. They are found on Quartz crystals.
Each notch, line, and phantom is a testament to the Earth’s own journey - and a reflection of yours. As you continue your work with these sacred formations, stay present, keep your intentions clear, and allow your crystals to be your companions. The wisdom is already there, you only need to tune in.

Your space holds energy, and even the smallest rituals can shift the way it feels. Creating a sacred space doesn’t have to be complicated or perfectly curated—it can be as simple as lighting a candle, cleansing your space, setting an intention, or surrounding yourself with pieces that help you feel calm, supported, and connected. An altar is less about appearance and more about how it makes you feel. It’s a space created with purpose—a place to pause, reconnect, and return to yourself.
An altar is a personal sacred space that reflects your intentions, energy, and spiritual connection. For some, it’s a dedicated meditation or ritual space. For others, it may simply be a small corner filled with meaningful objects that bring a sense of peace and grounding throughout the day.
There is no “right” way to create an altar. Your space can evolve naturally over time and should reflect what feels supportive and aligned to you.

Your altar can be anywhere:
The most important thing is that it feels intentional. Choose a space where you can pause, breathe, and reconnect, even for a few moments each day.
There are no strict rules for what belongs on an altar. The most meaningful spaces are created with intention and filled with objects that inspire peace, reflection, and connection. Whether you keep your altar beautifully simple or thoughtfully layered, each item can serve as a reminder of your intentions and support your spiritual practice. Below are a few timeless elements that many people choose to include as they create a space that feels uniquely their own.

Candles help create warmth, presence, and intention within a space. Lighting a candle can become a ritual in itself—a quiet signal to slow down, reflect, or reconnect with your energy.
Crystals can help support the energy you want to cultivate in your space.
Some beautiful altar stones include:
Choose pieces that you naturally feel drawn to rather than overthinking their meaning.
Cleansing Tools
Tools like cleansing fans, ritual brooms, herbs, incense, or singing bowls can help refresh the energy in your space and create a sense of movement and renewal.
Sound cleansing through singing bowls or chimes can be especially supportive when your space feels heavy, stagnant, or emotionally overwhelming.
Personal & Meaningful Objects
Your altar should feel personal. You may want to include:
These objects become reminders of what you want to call into your life and what you wish to stay connected to.
The most important part of an altar is intention. Even the simplest rituals can shift the energy around you when done mindfully.

You might:
Over time, your altar becomes more than a collection of objects—it becomes a space that supports you emotionally, spiritually, and energetically.
Your altar doesn’t need to stay the same forever. Let it shift with the seasons of your life. Some days you may crave softness and calm, while other times you may seek grounding, clarity, protection, or inspiration.
Trust yourself. The most meaningful sacred spaces are the ones created intuitively and with care.
Whether you’re updating your altar, refreshing your home’s energy, or simply looking for pieces that help you feel more grounded and connected, creating a sanctuary within your space can become a beautiful way to support yourself every day.

Archangel Jophiel is known as the angel of beauty, enlightenment, and higher wisdom. Her name is often translated as "Beauty of God" of "Divine Beauty". She is deeply connected to Mother Earth, nature spirits, and the Tree of Life. Working with Archangel Jophiel can bring clarity into your thoughts, inspire creative solutions, and help you to release limiting beliefs so that you are able to see the beauty and blessings in your life.
Archangel Jophiel is associated with the Earth element, the color yellow, the Solar Plexus Chakra, and the planet Jupiter. Angel numbers 666 or 999 could be a sign that she is reaching out to you. Other symbols that reflect her beauty and wisdom are sunflowers, butterflies, crowns, sacred geometry such as the Tree of Life, and sacred texts.
Crystals such as Citrine, Golden Healer, Yellow Fluorite, Petrified Wood, and Amber can connect with her energy for intention setting, gentle guidance, and angelic messages.
To connect with her energy, choose a crystal that calls to you and sit comfortably in a quiet space with eyes closed. Light a candle, and visualize a soften golden light surrounding your body from head to toe. Ask Archangel Jophiel for the guidance in which you need and allow her unwavering compassion to comfort you. Give her gratitude and observe any messages, sounds, or visions you receive.
You can call on Archangel Jophiel to bring clarity to challenging situations, motivation to declutter or organize your sacred space, and when in need of inspiration for creative projects. She reminds us that when we perceive the world through the lens of gratitude and Love, we cultivate a clearer mind, move through our day with open and compassionate hearts, and have a deeper appreciation for the natural beauty in our world.
From Kyle Gray's book, "Angel Prayers: Harnessing the Help of Heaven to Create Miracles" he offers a prayer to welcome Archangel Jophiel's energy into your world.
"I breathe deeply and fill my core with fresh clean air.
As I exhale, I release the clutter of my mind and body.
Doing this, I allow myself to see and hear more clearly.
Thank you, Jophiel, for supporting me as I discover my inner beauty.
And for silencing the voice of my ego so that I can clearly hear God.
I feel so alive knowing your wings are taking me forward.
And so it is!"
