Remembering Our Roots, Honoring Our Ancestors & Celebrating Those We Love
Día de Muertos reminds us that love does not end when a life does. Through memory, stories, traditions, and the ways our loved ones continue to live within us, we remain connected to those who came before.
Love Beyond Life is a heart-centered Cacao Circle inspired by the Mexican tradition of Día de Muertos. Together, we will create a community altar to honor our ancestors and loved ones, share ceremonial cacao, remember the lives that touched ours, and celebrate the roots that connect us to our families and lineage.
Through cacao, ritual, reflection, music, movement, storytelling, and moments of joy and connection, we gather not only to remember those who are no longer physically with us, but to celebrate their lives, honor what they gave us, and recognize what continues through us.
At the heart of our gathering, we will create a Día de Muertos community altar together.
You are invited to bring a photograph, small personal item, or meaningful object representing an ancestor or loved one you would like to honor. During the circle, these offerings will become part of our shared altar and the remembrance of those whose lives continue to touch ours.
You may also bring flowers, fruit, or another small offering if you feel called to do so.
Come with an open heart and the intention to remember, honor, and celebrate.

Ceremonial cacao will be prepared using approximately 42 grams of organic ceremonial cacao blended with water. No dairy or lactose is added.
If you are pregnant, have a heart condition, take antidepressant medication, or have a medical condition or concern, please contact me before attending so we can discuss whether an adjusted cacao serving or cacao tea may be more appropriate for you.
DO I NEED TO BE MEXICAN OR HAVE CELEBRATED DÍA DE MUERTOS BEFORE?
No. You do not need previous experience with Día de Muertos or cacao circles. This gathering welcomes those who feel called to honor their ancestors and loved ones with respect and intention while learning from and honoring the tradition that inspires the gathering.
WHO CAN I HONOR?
You may honor an ancestor, family member, friend, partner, or another loved one who has passed. You may also come simply to connect with your ancestral roots and participate in the collective remembrance.
DO I HAVE TO BRING SOMETHING FOR THE ALTAR?
No. Bringing a photograph, meaningful object, flowers, fruit, or another offering is completely optional. You are welcome to participate exactly as you are.
DO I NEED EXPERIENCE WITH CEREMONIAL CACAO?
No. Everything will be explained and you will be gently guided throughout the circle.
Love Beyond Life is an invitation to remember that grief and celebration can exist together. We gather to honor the lives that came before us, celebrate the love that remains, and remember the roots that continue to live through us.
Janet Mendoza is a Medicine Woman, Certified Family Constellations Practitioner, and Holistic Healing Practitioner specializing in ancestral, systemic, and soul-centered healing. Her work supports people in exploring the deeper roots of the patterns and experiences shaping their lives.
Her approach brings together ancestral wisdom, systemic work, energy healing, and intuitive practices to work with the body, mind, spirit, and soul. Through private sessions, workshops, and circles, Janet creates intentional spaces to bring awareness to what is ready to be seen, honor what came before, transform what no longer needs to be carried, and reconnect with the wisdom and resources within.
At the heart of Janet’s work is a simple belief: the medicine has always been within you. Her purpose is not to give you the answers, but to guide you inward, helping you remember who you are, honor where you come from, and move forward with greater awareness, freedom, and intention.

Please sign our Consent & Liability Waiver prior to arrival. Note, we use essential oils and burn sage, palo santo and/or incense—please let us know of any sensitivities. Refrain from using any drugs or alcohol prior to the event. Video and photography during the event is not permitted without prior approval.
Appointment Cancellation Policy: For cancellations, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged or losing your deposit. An electronic credit will be issued in the form of store credit. If there is an extenuating circumstance, please let us know.
We reserve the right to cancel classes and events due to low attendance. An electronic credit will be sent via email, or a refund will be issued upon request.
