During the Rx Sound Journey Experience, the unique vibrations of harp, ocean drum, steel-tongue drum, tuning forks, and tingshas help calm the stress-response side of the central nervous system while supporting a relaxed, creative state. These soothing sounds bring body, mind, and spirit back into balance, allowing you to reconnect with the fullness and potential of your deeper self.
Beyond serving as a seasonal transition from spring into summer, this sound journey can be especially supportive during times of stress, overwhelm, fatigue, or physical discomfort; when navigating life changes or processing loss; when you’re committed to self-care, inner reflection, and personal growth; or simply when you need a restorative pause.
Gathering limited to 10 participants. Please dress comfortably. Blankets and mats will be available. Doors close 5 minutes after start time and late entry is not permitted.
About Your Practitioner
With the desire to support people in any stage of life with the transformative power of presence and sound, Ruth McEwen, MSW, Music-Thanatologist developed Rx Sound Journeys. Ruth brings her love for life and people and her professional and personal experiences with prescriptive music to this healing and wellness work.

Refrain from using any drugs or alcohol prior to the event. Video and photography during the event is not permitted without prior approval.

Appointment Cancellation Policy: For cancellations, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged or losing your deposit. An electronic credit will be issued in the form of store credit. If there is an extenuating circumstance, please let us know.
We reserve the right to cancel classes and events due to low attendance. An electronic credit will be sent via email, or a refund will be issued upon request.
