Before each lighting or once the candle has cooled, trim the wick to about ¼ inch to prevent your wick from sinking into the wax pool as it will result in your candle burning out. To avoid “tunneling” (where the wax builds up along the edges), let the candle burn until the melted wax pool reaches the edge of the glassware, usually anywhere between 1-3 hours depending on the size of your candle. This will ensure an even and consistent burn. Avoid burning for longer than 4 hours at a time.
Discontinue the use of your candle when ¼ inch of wax remains in the bottom of the glassware. Burning past this point can cause the vessel to overheat, which may lead to cracking or damage.
Always place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Never leave a candle burning unattended, especially near children, pets, or anything that can catch fire. Avoid drafts. To extinguish, gently blow out the flame or use a wick snuffer. Do not pick up or touch a lit candle immediately after it is blown out. Keep candles away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures, as this may affect the quality.
Tealight: Up to 2 hour burn
10 oz: Up to 50 hour burn
I love how the tea lights are an option to buy to try out before buying the larger scent because a lot of times certain scents bother me and give me a migraine. However, I don’t think that any of these will because they’re not artificially scented. They’re using high-quality essential oils.
This was actually a good find for a larger merkaba on clearance and I got lucky in finding one at a good price. It goes perfectly with our current setup.
One of three I picked up last week. I love popping in to see what wants to come home with me.
