One of our favorite ways to manifest and utilize our crystals is with a crystal grid. A crystal grid is a geometric pattern of energetically aligned crystals charged by our intention for the purpose of manifestation. Your unique energetic vibration or blueprint is used to design a field of energy to support your intentions and create your realities at a more conscious level!
Crystal grids combine the energies and properties of specific crystals with the mechanics of other metaphysical systems. It is done with the intention of manifesting a desired result. Grids are geometric patterns (or sacred geometry) of energetically aligned stones or crystals. The grid incorporates the use of crystals and stones because each one of them carries a unique vibration or frequency. You can also add in elements of nature such as feathers, twigs, flowers, seashells, and leaves. The objects within a grid are used to assist with manifesting our intentions. It is like giving our intention a boost of sorts. We activate grids with our intention and can use the grid for any intention we desire! Abundance, protection, connection to angels or guides, healing, love, joy, happiness, new career - the possibilities are endless! We can also use these grids to hold space or help others by offering assistance and asking permission from their Higher Self.
Select the Base of Your Grid
You will something to build your crystal grid on. You can use a template of sacred geometry in the form of a Selenite charging plate or a wood grid. Or dedicate an undisturbed space in your home. It can be on a shelf, table, dresser, or even outside. Some of our favorite sacred geometry templates are the Flower of Life and Metatron.
Select Your Crystals or Elements
Choose crystals or elements that make sense for the intention you are trying to achieve. For instance, if you are hoping to bring in abundance, choose crystals such as Aventurine, Jade, or Pyrite. You can find other natural elements by going for a walk. State your intention and be aware of what comes across your path! You will need a center stone to ground your grid. Ideally, this would be a point or tower of high vibration such as Clear Quartz. But you could opt for a crystal sphere, raw cluster, or other elements you find powerful. You will also need a wand to activate the grid. There are many types of wands that can be used but a crystal wand is the best.
Set Your Intention
It's helpful to write out your intention. This can be placed under the grid. If you are making a grid for someone else, it is important to add "if this is for the highest good of all involved."
Intention setting is the process of creating a clear and focused mental or emotional intention for a specific goal or outcome. When manifesting one of the most important elements is to focus on the feeling and sensation that you want to experience once this intention comes into your life. The key to manifesting is letting go of the outcome. We can’t manifest if we are holding too tightly to the who, what, when, where, how and if it will unfold.
By holding onto the outcome too tightly we prevent the universe from being part of the co-creation process. The best way to get out of your own way is to let go of the outcome. Surrender to it and then surrender some more. Focus on the feelings and sensations as if it’s already happened - how do you want to feel in your life!
Cleanse Your Space
Use sage, palo santo, or your favorite way to energetically cleanse your space. Be sure to also smudge around your own energetic field.
Set Your Grid
You can use a sacred geometry pattern to lay out your crystals or intuitively place your elements in a balanced manner with the piece you chose for the center stone in the middle. Don't forget to place your written intention under your grid!

There is no set length of time to keep your grid but it should be refreshed on occasion or deactivated when your intention has manifested. You will need to reactivate the grid if it's disturbed. Just follow the above directions to reactivate. Tune into your intuition to see what your grid or intention is calling for and follow the signs and opportunities the Universe sends your way!

@Rachel, that’s so wonderful that you’re feeling drawn to work with a crystal grid – they can be such a beautiful way to support your intentions and deepen your connection with your practice. Grids are a really special and important part of almost everything we do!
When it comes to choosing crystals, we like to match the stones to the intention you’re working with. For example, if your intention is preparing for and welcoming new beginnings, a combination like Clear Quartz (to amplify energy), Moonstone (to support cycles), Danburite (for clarity and lightness), and Petrified Wood (for a steady, grounded foundation) can feel very supportive.
For placement, many people like to arrange the stones on the grid so the energy feels balanced and harmonious, but you’re always welcome to follow your intuition – wherever your hands feel called to place them is a perfect place to start. As for a wand, you don’t need anything specific. Any long, slender crystal that feels good in your hand works beautifully – a selenite stick, a raw crystal point, a Vogel, or even just your finger.
We’ve found that once you understand your intention and start playing with placement, the crystals begin to guide you in return – there really are no rules!
