Septarian Dragon Egg Palm Stone

In crystal healing, Septarian is used for healing of the blood and kidneys. Septarian is related to the lower chakras, root, sacral and solar plexus. Septarian is a "concretion" stone. Concretions are protective stones, providing both grounding and shielding of the physical, mental, and emotional bodies. These beauties are part of our Madagascar collection!

Septarian nodules start out as concretions, which are basically solid balls of mud. Concretions generally form around organic matter like a shell or rock and then become cracked through geological processes. Mineral rich fluids seeping through the surrounding rocks deposit minerals within the cracks and typically siderite or aragonite gets deposited first and then calcite crystals grow on top!

The crystal filled cracks are known as “septa” which is how Septarian got its name! These beauties are known as dragon eggs due to the natural egg shape and pattern.
