Septarian nodules start out as concretions, which are basically solid balls of mud. Concretions generally form around organic matter like a shell or rock and then become cracked through geological processes. Mineral rich fluids seeping through the surrounding rocks deposit minerals within the cracks and typically siderite or aragonite gets deposited first and then calcite crystals grow on top!
The crystal filled cracks are known as “septa” which is how Septarian got its name! These beauties are known as dragon eggs due to the natural egg shape and pattern.

My phoenix pine point with its swirls of blue and green has really enhanced the energy in my living room. I placed it near an aloe plant and they compliment each other so beautifully next to a window among some books and frames on a bookshelf. Thankful this lovely stone called to me as I was browsing the shop with my daughter.
My husband got me my first one for Christmas and we had a rose quartz sphere on it. It was perfect and the light effects on the wall and ceiling were amazing. I have another one now that has a flower egg on it that creates interesting light patterns on the wall and ceiling. Very pretty
I bought one of these for myself to represent my late mother and my friend that was with me was going to get this one because her mom just passed away. She didn't get it at the time. When I had gone back to the store I picked it up for her and surprised her with it. It is very pretty in the window especially when the sun is really bright. I love mine and I know she's going to love hers.
This was actually a good find for a larger merkaba on clearance and I got lucky in finding one at a good price. It goes perfectly with our current setup.
One of three I picked up last week. I love popping in to see what wants to come home with me.
