Discover the delicate and timeless art of Oshibana, a traditional Japanese practice that transforms pressed flowers, leaves, and other botanicals into stunning, nature-inspired artwork. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the techniques of arranging and preserving these natural elements to create your own unique masterpiece. The word Oshibana- translates to "painting with natural elements," and this class will guide you through the process of composing a picture that captures the beauty of the natural world. 

All supplies, including a variety of pressed botanicals and tools, are provided, making this a perfect opportunity for both beginners and experienced crafters to explore this meditative and creative art form. Join us to connect with nature and create something truly one-of-a-kind! 

You will design 3 items in this class. 

1. 1oz bubble potion leak proof herbarium plastic bottles with ring cap and string. 

2. Mini floating frame, with a stand.

3. 4x6 natural paper allows you more space to create your own masterpiece that can be framed. 

About Your Practitioner: Mary Mello of Botanic Flora Apothecary creates small batch apothecary using flower essences for healing. She is also a Science & Technology Color Specialist with over 30 years of industrial color knowledge. She is excited to teach her knowledge of flower essences and the high vibrational healing power of flowers.

Video and photography during the event is not permitted without prior approval.

Appointment Cancellation Policy: For cancellations, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged or losing your deposit. An electronic credit will be issued in the form of a gift card. If there is an extenuating circumstance, please let us know.
