Zen Shiatsu Massage Session

Zen Shiatsu massage is a clothed, Japanese treatment modality that is deeply relaxing and helps pain and tension in the body melt away. It brings ease and comfort to the joints, helping you to find freedom of movement. This is not your typical massage—it is an interactive session where the practitioner will be communicating with you throughout to ensure you're comfortable. Treatments are specifically tailored to your needs and goals.

During Session

Treatment will begin with gentle touching of your abdominal area, this helps your practitioner connect to your body's energy levels and which areas need attention. Pressure will be applied to energy points throughout  your body using fingers, thumbs, elbows, and knees. Jess will work directly in the energy pathways of your body to help relax specific acupoints. This will help support your nervous system, digestion, elimination, immune system and help promote healthy sleep. Zen Shiatsu helps you  to be present in your own body and to  feel truly at home in your mind, body, and spirit. You'll be laying on a floor mat and the session is 60 minutes.  Please dress comfortably in lounge/athletic wear.

Please note, Zen Shiatsu massage is not recommended if you have a fever/infectious disease.

About Your Practitioner

Jess was introduced to energy work in 2019 by her therapist, who was helping her navigate a difficult time in her life. The experience had a profound, life-changing impact—she felt as though she was finally waking up. This awakening set the course for a new journey, and over the next few years, she completed Reiki Levels I & II.

As Jess continued along her healing journey, she discovered a deep passion for people and a calling to be of service to humanity. In 2022, she made the courageous decision to leave her career and follow her heart. She enrolled at Zen Shiatsu School Chicago, where she studied the healing modalities of Zen Shiatsu and Craniosacral therapy.

Since then, Jess has been cultivating her energy work practice and is excited to continue her journey with the Angelic Roots community.

Location

The session is at our Wellness Center: 8612 S Market Place, Oak Creek, WI 53154 (We have 2 locations in the Oak Creek Market Place Village, this is at the North End location) and session times are in Central Standard Time (CST).

Please note, our treatment rooms are located within our crystal shop, and while we strive to maintain a serene environment, there may be some ambient noise, particularly during evenings and weekends.
