Guasha is the practice of using a tool to apply pressure and scrape the skin to relieve pain, tension, and fine lines or wrinkles. Work with your guasha by massaging your skin with a gentle but firm pressure. We recommend prepping your skin with your favorite moisturizer. This action may cause light bruising, which often appears as purple or red spots known sha. The name gua sha comes from the Chinese word for scraping.
