Our beautiful Grotta Sonora mini cosmo plates are the perfect size to hold but also look beautiful displayed on a stand or wall. Grotta Sonora translates to "sound cave" in Italian, and these gongs are inspired, crafted, and hand etched in Calcata, Italy by Madhava Carrara and Margherita Cioffi, artisans and musicians.
Grotta Sonora gongs are made from a proprietary mix of nickel and stainless steel alloy that the company calls “Sacred Metal”. They are handmade and each gong has a unique design, etching, and color. The alloy mixture produces complex sounds and lightweight, durable gongs.
Each gong is energetically unique and a stunning piece of artwork. They are designed for a deeper, meditative frequency with complex tones and dancing harmonics that provides an expansive blend of sound and fluid tones. Grotta Sonora gongs are ideal for sound baths, sound healing practitioners, or personal collections.
Each gong is handmade with love and intention. Small imperfections are a distinctive trait of craftsmanship and make every gong a unique creation. Black hanging cord included. Sound clips can be heard in the video.
Cleaning Instructions: Grotta Sonora gongs are crafted using a forged non-steel alloy which does not corrode with water or humidity. We suggest not touching the surface of the gong directly with bare hands to prevent fingerprints. If you need to remove dust or fingerprints, with a soft, microfiber cloth and isopropyl alcohol. Do not use cleaning agents as this might damage the vivid colors of the gong.
