Often called the eighth chakra, the subtle energy center known as the Soul Star Chakra is associated with higher consciousness, spiritual connection, soul wisdom, and the energetic patterns that exist beyond our present soul incarnation. It is located 8-12 inches above the Crown Chakra, associated with the Ether element, and often is seen as luminous, brilliant white color. It can be represented by a lotus mandala with a floating merkaba in its center.
When our Soul Star Chakra is balanced, we feel a deeper connection to our truth, spiritual path, and the greater collective. You can easily meet change and challenges with perspective, trust, and openness. It is expressed as self-compassion, feelings of unity with nature, humanity, and divine consciousness, and a sense of spiritual connection while remaining present in everyday life.
Imbalances in our Soul Star Chakra can often manifest as feelings of spiritual disconnection, confusion about purpose, or difficulty finding meaning. We may feel isolated and lose connection with the physical body and relationships. Being overwhelmed and having difficulty trusting inner wisdom, we may question whether our lives have direction or lead to feeling spiritually isolated or unsupported.
There are some crystals that can be powerful tools for balancing and activating the Soul Star Chakra. Here are some of our favorites for working with this chakra.
The best way to honor the Soul Star Chakra is through choosing actions that reflect our deepest values and inner truth. The way we create, express, live, care for our physical body, and practice compassion are choices we make every day that reflect our connection to our soul, values, and the deeper wisdom we carry within us. Support your spiritual journey through energy healing, connecting with your ancestors, developing your intuition through tarot or oracle cards, and using sound to gain clarity and connect more deeply with your inner vision.
The Soul Star Chakra is a powerful gateway to bring greater meaning, compassion, and spiritual awareness into the life you are living now. Working with this chakra can be a gentle practice of remembering your values, inner wisdom, connection to the natural world and the collective consciousness, and the Light that exists within you.
