During this immersive experience, you will be guided through creating your own 15” traditional hand drum, honoring the drum as the heartbeat of Mother Earth and a powerful spiritual companion. This is a truly one-of-a-kind experience and an opportunity to learn directly from a traditional elder!\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn Native American tradition, the drum is considered a living, sacred being - its rhythm mirroring the heartbeat of Mother Earth and serving as a bridge between the Earth, our ancestors, and the spirit world. During this workshop, you will handcraft your drum using animal hide stretched over a wooden frame and learn the spiritual significance of attaching a medicine bundle, which is traditionally used to carry, protect, and amplify the drum’s intention and purpose.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMr. Charging Crow will gently guide you through the process with wisdom, storytelling, and teachings rooted in Lakota tradition, sharing insight into the meaning and sacred role of the drum.
